
Center For Development and Capacity Building (CDCB) in partnership with USAID/Feteh
activities in Ethiopia, conducts a project familiarization workshop yesterday Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Elilly Hotel, Finfinne.
The major objective of the project is to contribute to the enhancement of the participation of media professionals, civil society organizations (CSOs), Justice Sector and informal institutions in the promotion of Human rights, Rule of Law and peace building in Oromia Region.

The project entitled “Enhancing the Rule of Law and Human Rights Protection in Oromia National Regional State through Capacity Building and Advocacy Actions” lasts from May 2, 2022 to May 1, 2023 and benefits the media professionals, civil society organizations, law enforcement bodies and indigenous institutions in Oromia national regional state through capacity building activities of the project. 31 people from key government bureaus, CSOs traditional institutions (Abba Gadas) and the media has attended the work-shop. According to the participants, the project is timely and appropriate for enhanced capacity and participation of the institutions to entrench rule of law and human rights protect.

The time is when all of us join hands together and defend human rights and rule of law so that we can end hate and distractive conflict to realize peaceful society. Hence all participants expressed their willingness to be backing CDCB and its partners endeavor
in the implementation of the project.
