CDCB in partnership with Forum of Federation hosted a validation workshop of stakeholder analysis and mapping that has been conducted for the past few months as one of the major activities of the project “Youth leader’s capacity building on federal governance, democracy and Peace”.

In this meeting topics such as youth governance challenges in Ethiopia was pointed out and discussed.  Furthermore Stakeholder Analysis on Youth Participation, and challenges related to youth participation such as Participation in governance leadership, socio-political, conflict & instability and unemployment were also discussed. Following this, early steps that were taken to overcome the challenges that are listed above, both in the federal and regional government, were also acknowledged and talked about in detail. The challenges related to youth participation on federal governance, democracy and peace can be tackled by filling gaps in the prevailing places. Subsequently, various ways to overcome the challenges were thoroughly discussed. The final point of discussion was on whom to engage throughout this process.

The participant that gathered from different institutions on this meeting were also able to reflect on the agendas discussed and give suggestions on how to carry on the project.
