There has been a tradition of depending on donor’s fund for NGOs in Ethiopia to finance their programs and projects. The recent experience however shows that these resources are limited in size owing to different factors. CDCB faces challenges to mobilize sufficient resource from these sources. Under such circumstances CDCB has made good efforts to mobilize resource and to establish partnerships with various agencies. Although there are various resource mobilization approaches and alternatives, mostly CDCB exerted efforts to mobilize resource through call hunting approach.
CDCB is building confidence among its partners and gaining attention from different institutions and organizations for partnership. In the reporting period (2022) CDCB was approached by more than 6 international organizations and entered pre-award partnership agreement for resource mobilizations. This shows our progress in partnership establishment. Some of the CDCB’s major partnerships made in 2022 are listed below as a reference to the next planning year.
CDCB is committed to providing a working environment that is meaningful, productive, fair, and respects human dignity and ensuring the consistent, fair, transparent, and respectful treatment to its employees, in accordance with policies and procedures of the organization.

Ensure equal treatment among employees; and promote policies that help ensure successful employees’ assignments while minimizing administrative cost, and understandable and comply with applicable tax, employment and other applicable laws.
Upgrade technical and professional capacity of employees to make them competent through providing on job training.
In the year 2022, CDCB made good progress in all categories of human resource pool that will be the leverage for its New Year (2023) plan and its ongoing revitalization program. In addition to the good progress made in this reporting period (2022) the capacity development program that targeted large youth population in this year has given us an opportunity to further recruit volunteer youths for the planning period.
