Resource Mobilization

Better resources better experience.

There has been a tradition of depending on donor’s fund for NGOs in Ethiopia to finance their programs and projects. The recent experience however shows that these resources are limited in size owing to different factors. CDCB faces challenges to mobilize sufficient resource from these sources. Under such circumstances CDCB has made good efforts to mobilize resource and to establish partnerships with various agencies. Although there are various resource mobilization approaches and alternatives, mostly CDCB exerted efforts to mobilize resource through call hunting approach.

In addition to the good progress made in this reporting period (2022) the capacity development program that targeted large youth population in this year has given us an opportunity to further recruit volunteer youths for the planning period.
