Youth Leaders Dialogue on Governance issues under way

Youth Leaders Dialogue on Governance and peace is under way as of today (November 1 st 2022) at Bishoftu Dreamland Resort Hote for the next 4 daysl. The dialogue, which is the 2 nd in the five series of same programme covers Federal Governance, Democracy, Human Rights and Peace organized by CDCB jointly with Forum of Federations in Canada.
H. E. Ato Taye Danda’a, Minstrer d’état of the Ministry of Peace made an opening speech during the opening ceremony.
 
H.E. encouraged youth participants to actively discuss issues during the four day deliberations to go home with added value to jointly solve the bottlenecks facing the country.
Ato Dassa Bulcha Senior Progrmme Director of Forum of Federations gave some background to the Forum of Federations and on organizing this training that jointly done with the CDCB up on getting their interest and acceptance to work together.
 
Ato Amanuel Adnew, CDCB Executive Director on his part welcomed participants and gave some overview of the CDCB and the training programme. He said the Center has been doing researches on relevant issues towards solving problems of the country.
In addition, he said the CDCB organized various forums involving intellectuals and public figures on pertinent issues of the day. Referring to the current training, he indicated that it was based on research compiled and readied for the training as a reference material.
