More than two hundred youth leaders from all regions and city administrations of the country will be trained by the Center for Development and Capacity Building in the coming five weeks. (Said the executive director of CDCB).
The training is a part of an ongoing project called “Dialogue Initiative for Ethiopian Youth Leaders on Federal Governance, Democracy, and Peace” that is being carried out by CDCB and the Forum of Federations (FOF). The project aimed to enhance Ethiopian youth’s understanding of government and democracy to facilitate their effective engagement on key governance issues facing the nation, helping to advance its development by fostering a more pluralistic and inclusive political environment.
At Dreamland Resort in Bishoftu, the first cohort of the training has just begun. In her opening speech, the Deputy -speaker of the House of Federations emphasized the importance of such training for users and thanked all the stakeholders who were involved in the organization of the training session, and wished the trainees a productive time.
Each cohort will have 40 participants and will be delivered in five consecutive cohorts.
